Can I make an appointment with the doctor?
Yes you can make an appointment for Dr El Ali, Dr Saeed and Dr Avais. Dr Wilson continues to practice on a walk-in only basis. All appointments are bulk billed upon presentation of a valid medicare card at all times, 7 days per week.
Please note: no appointments are available on weekends or public holidays and that all patients will be seen on a “walk-in” basis.
Do I have to see the doctor to get my test results?
All patients are advised to contact the clinic regarding their results during the working week (Monday-Friday) between 9.00-5.00pm.
If the doctor would like to follow up your results on a semi-urgent to urgent basis, you will receive a phone call from one of our recall nurses advising you of when to come in.
Please note: All radiology results require a follow up consultation and will not be made available to the patient until after they have been seen by the doctor.
Do I have to make an appointment to have a Pap smear test?
No, an appointment is not required for a pap smear.
How do I go about having my child immunised?
Our child immunisation days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday by appointment. If your child has a valid Medicare card, the consultation will be bulk billed. If you are a private patient, please make an enquiry with reception regarding the fees prior to making an appointment with the immunisation nurse.
Note: Your child will need to consult with the doctor prior to vaccinations being administered.
I want to see a doctor but I do not have a Medicare card. Can you bill my private insurance (Medibank, HBA, OSHC etc.) for my consultation?
No. At present this clinic does not offer the service of billing accounts directly to health insurance providers. After payment, a receipt will be given to you that can then be forwarded on to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.
The standard consultation fee for all patients who see the doctor without a valid Medicare card is $70 on weekdays and $80 on weekends and payment can be made via EFTPOS or cash. A long consultation will attract a higher fee.
Note: Your full payment will be required on the day of consultation.
Please contact your health insurance company for details regarding reimbursement or rebate.
