Can I see the doctor to complete a pre-employment medical?
The doctors at the Glenroy Road Clinic can complete pre-employment medicals and other related health assessments provided that they have the adequate medical history to do so.
Some medical assessments will require that the doctor performing them should be the person’s treating doctor for a minimum of 12 months for it to be considered valid.
If you are unsure, please bring your pre-employment medical forms to reception to clarify whether our doctors can perform the assessment.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, you will need an appointment. Pre-employment medical appointments are available depending on your GP’s schedule. Please contact reception on 9306 1444 to arrange a time.

What is involved in a pre-employment medical?
Pre-employment medicals often require the doctor to perform a medical examination and may also dictate the need for investigations such as vision tests, pathology tests and ECGs. Your employer should provide you with information and paperwork outlining the assessments that need to be completed.
How much will it cost?
The fee for pre-employment medical assessments and taxi licence medicals is $170.
It is the patient’s responsibility to enquire about the fees prior to booking their consultation with the doctor and payment will be required on the day.
